Olene Smith was raised in San Miguel, Arizona. She received her Bachelor’s in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona. Olene has returned to the UA and is currently working on her Masters in School Counseling. She enjoys being outdoors and being active. Once Olene has completed her program her goal is to return to the Tohono O’odham Nation and work with students in the same schools she attended.
